Very soon it will be 2010. Yes, the new year. This year has been special to me, took my O-levels, had the courage to ask cosplayers for a photo and strengthen my bond with my best friend.

Made new friends on facebook and started on my blog again.

Made a new friend by messaging wrongly... Means you Pat!

Now, its time to once again open my heart, welcome new challenges, cross new hurdles and have new connections.

Friends, i will forget some of you, but i thank you now, for all the time we spent together.

I am that kind of person, now that i have left school, i will forget most of my classmates...

EOY 2009 Continued...

Where was i... right, the competition. The cosplay contestants were(character names, not people names) snake eyes( this cosplay was done by a Young kid, only around 9-13 years old i think), kamen rider decade, Haruhi, Lu Bu, Su( from Clover, clamp manga), Alex Mercer, Lenalee Lee, Kurosaki Ichigo, Rude( FFVIII, not saying that you are rude...) and Yu Kanda.

First, i would like to point out about the Haruhi cosplayer. Her voice, tone, looks... SO cute. Damn.. am i becoming a pedo?... noooo. Wait, Road, Echo... Darn, Donovan!! Don't become a Pedo!!

Moving on, the contestants were to be voted based on sms. Alright... for 3rd place we have....
Lu Bu!!

2nd is.... Haruhi!!

And finally 1st is...*drum roll* Rude from FFVIII!! For me, 1st place was really shocking, i mean who would have guessed that the simple sunglasses and suit won 1st place. Well, i guess he was more into character than the others.

After the solo competition, there was the group contest.
The first performance was by The Idolm@aster group dressed in Christmas attire. Their dance was okay, but i was expecting more.

The second was "The genesis of The War of Genesis".... i know, its long. Its apparently some Korean Game and the members were also Korean, or so i heard. Their act was pretty funny and i laughed a lot. The supposed Main character was dancing like... you know, not guy.. Lols it was so funny!

Third in line was the YuRipa Fume group. their group was the smallest, having only 3 members.
Apparently, they are cosplaying characters from FFXI. overall the dance was entertaining and i could see their effort in their dance.

Last but not least is the Baka Ninja group, cosplayers cosplaying characters from the guilty gear game. Man! The group was huge! about 30 people i think. A funny thing happened, the bgm got cut of at the start so they had to re take! lol anyways, the overall performance was kinda messy and i could not quite get it... or it could be just that i do not play that much guilty gear.

The results are as follows. As i suspected, Idolm@ster group got forth place, with YuRipa Fume third, Baka ninja Second and The genesis of The war of genesis being first.

After that, Irwan and I decided to move out and take some pics. However, things did not turn out right and i only took one pic... We then met up with Daryl and rushed back into the concert hall. It was because of this that i missed that Road with the pen and book...sob..
And it only got worse, we could not find seats on the first and second level so we had to sit on the third level. The down side was that half of our vision was covered by balloons.. Balloons!! WTH Why would they even put a net of balloons when it obviously blocks the vision of people sitting on the third floor .

Nonetheless, we still got to see Yui Makino's free concert. It was fairly good... Next, Irwan wanted to buy something from the shops.( So did i though) As we walked around, Kristy( A booth owner) came up to us. After listening to her, i bought most of her items..... well it was cheap.

Oh ya, i managed to buy a Lenalee poster, thought that i had missed it. I bought a Allen walker poster before at downtown east, and it felt empty.... so now, you have got a companion Allen. haha

After the tiring day, Irwan and I headed home, but not before stopping to take some last minute pictures (well, only i took..). I managed to take 3 pics. Sadly, the last one came out terrible.

It was a Hatsune Miku cosplayer. When i approached her, her friends backed a away to allow me to take her pic. Man, i felt dumb, they were a group why did i only ask her?? As a result, i think she felt frustrated and a little angry, so no pose..

Whew... * wipes sweat off forehead* finally done. Boy was that long..

EOY today!!

Sup y'all! Went to the EOY today. I tried to take good pictures but ended up taking many horrible ones... lack of sleep maybe? Well, nonetheless i took a few good pictures and the cosplayers were not half bad either. There was one "Road( from D.gray-man)" who held a black book( Deathnote maybe?) and a feather pen. She was walking around with the feathered part of the pen near her mouth and with a clueless expression. You know, the ones with "I'm lost" writen all over, Damn cute!! But, too bad... i lost my guts to take it..darn...

It just gets worse, i was soo down that i wasted 2 hours.. 2 hours!! And missed the morning band performances... well whats done cannot be undone. I still managed to catch the cosplay competions.

For the solo category, there were 10 contestants.

Merry Christmas!!

To start off, today was a great day. Woke up around 6.30am to meet with Waiyin to go to the christmas musical by cityharvest church at the expo but ended up meeting Wei ling and her friend instead. Soon, more people started gathering and we went to que up for the entry to the expo.( Its free of charge of course)

For the most, i felt quite weird, did not want to socialize... ahh i guess i am just not good at making friends. Overall, the drama was really cool, we sang songs and watched a heart warming performance. I went fown to recieve blessing and pray to God again. Each time i go down i get the urge to join the church but the next moment, the feeling fades away. I wonder why...
Throughout the event i shoke hands with almost every person around me 2 times!! lol.

Well, thats all for today... got to sleep to get up early for the EOY tmr! Cosplay!! woot! haha
Can't wait.

p.s I am currently into Weiss schwarz tcg and gundam vs gundam next+. on the lookout for opponents...
