Poly open house

Ahhhhhhh!!!! O-level results next week!!!!
Alright... Today i went with Irwan, Boon Kim, Samuel and his brother Isaac to Singapore poly and Nee ann poly for the open house. And i most probably would not be going for the other days, too tired.( Too much Weiss schwarz... whats wrong with me...sigh)
Anyway, both places were amazing! First of all, most of the explanations are done by first year students. Overall, the courses were pretty interesting. We went to learn about Maritime and some stuff about 3D and solar power in Singapore poly. There were those solar powered motorcycles over there, the design looks surprisingly good. A surprising thing we saw, or i noticed first at least, is the appearance of cosplayers! At both poly! Well, i did not take a pic of them. There was a cosplay group of Hatsune miku, chrome dokuro, lenalee lee and can't remember the last one... Anyway, the Hatsune Miku cosplayer looked like Brenda Khong, could be just me though. I tried out Archery too, very good feeling.... I actually hit the same spot twice! lol
Next we had Macs( cheaper than outside macs), well i had macs, and we headed to Nee ann. Naturally, we had to take a bus there, cramped packed. Initially, i did not know when to get off, but it was pretty obvious when many people started to alight. Like Singapore poly, Nee ann was very full. We first headed to the Film, media and sound section. It was quite cool, we learnt about advertising, mass comm and a little bit about filming.(Way too bad Sam..) After that, we took the tour bus and headed to the infocomm section. There wasn't really much to do though. But, it some how was really interesting as we got to see the artworks and projects of the students. We also saw their sketches and rough drawings. After walking a bit, we decided to take a picture for keeps sake. The result was pretty funny. You'll know when you see it. It should be on my facebook within two days.
That was roughly it. I decided to check out the convention centre.(SOY is going to be held there, i think) The place was good, big and had nice floors. Hehe, i can't wait... Right after, I wanted to see if there is a both that was related to cosplay... sadly i could not find it and time was running out too.With the little time left, we decided to try out the archery at Nee ann. It was getting late, so we left. I bought a 9 slot card Album with Irwan and went home.
